Conspiracy Theorists See Patsies On Trial For 9/11
How does the conspiracy sect see the upcoming trial of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed, the self-described mastermind of the 9/11 attacks, in a civilian court in New York City?
Cult followers of paranoid babbler-mouth Alex Jones and the 9/11 Truth Movement firmly believe that the Bush administration was behind the 9/11 attacks. So what’s their take on the trial?
According to Jones’s Prisoner Planet site, the ragtag conspiracy crew sees it as “a show trial to reinforce the lie known as the inside job of 9/11 – for clueless idiot that still believe 9/11 was orchestrated by a Bush business partner in a cave.”
The conspiracy crowd attempts to fit the KSM trial into their own paranoid agenda of garbage, where Obama is part of the coverup and that the expected death penalty convictions are merely their way of killing off the patsies and evidence:
“These phony trials are just a way to try to convince the ingnoranmasses that 9/11 was done by these terrorists…..what a joke….everyone involved in the coverup should be tried for treason, found guilty and shot.”
Alex Jones and these silly 9/11 Truth Movement conspiracy clowns continue to stab away at windmills in a bubble of their own making where everyone of authority is seen as a puppeteer of the New World Order. WAKE UP AMERICA!

I’m a huge conspiracy theory buff. But the 9/11-insider job idiocy is just that — complete idiocy. Whether it’s the Bush-had-people-fly-jets-into-the-twin-towers-with-remote-controls theory or the -controlled-demolition-theory, people overlook the fact that our national government could never successfully pull off such a complex maneuver. C’mon, having hundreds of people in on a huge, devastating conspiracy like this without significant leaks to the media?
Now, if you want to go after the idea that the government failed to look after people it suspected of being terrorists who eventually became what the government feared they would become, that’s an idea worth chasing.
The idea that “people couldn’t keep this secret” is ridiculous. Are you claiming that the military and CIA can’t compartmentalize people and keep secrets? Most of the people involved didn’t know they were involved or thought they were a part of one of the many war games that just happened to happen on 9/11 and involve some of the exact same scenarios that played themselves out in reality (i.e. hijacked planes, planes flown into buildings, etc.)
If you think the government can’t keep a secret, how do you explain the success of the Manhattan Project? That involved a whole lot more people than 9/11 but it didn’t get leaked all over the place.
And the idea that there aren’t whistleblowers is ridiculous. Look up Sibel Edmunds or FBI chief John O’Neil…oh wait, he’s dead because after he quit in protest they gave him a job as head of WTC security and his first day was 9/11.

It is impossible without explosives taking out the underlying support structure. If Alex Jones is too intense for you, go read all the scientific papers posted on the subject by the group Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth. Over 900 of them have signed a petition stating the official story is bogus but I guess they’re all crazy conspiracy theorists too.

It basically goes shot-by-shot through the conspiracy film, Loose Change and debunks the entire thing. What I find offensive is people like Alex Jones and the Loose Change crew actually make large amounts of money off their DVDs, so basically they are making money off the 9/11 tragedy and its victims.

Alex Jones puts all of his films out for free on the Internet and encourages people to make copies and pass them out. Hardly the actions of someone trying to “exploit” 9/11 for profit.

The 9/11 Commission Report is a cruel joke authored by partisans working with information funneled through Philip Zelikow and Karl Rove. Many a key detail went down the memory hole. Several of the commission members have even said that government agencies participated in a coverup — but don’t look for that in the report. And what exactly were they covering for? Ineptitude? We can only hope …

Sadly, the 9/11 Truth crowd squandered their best political capital on Alex Jones’s furious style of politicking. It’s a shame to see such fervor still standing in the way of a true reexamination, which is sorely needed in spite of the above (completely justified) mockery.
Just ask yourself: are you comfortable with allowing Karl Rove and Phillip Zelikow the official word on such a key moment in U.S. history?

In response to another comment. See in context »Alex Jones is a complete paranoid idiot. There is 9/11 truth that needs to be told but its not through the Kool Aid that AJ or David Icke dishes up. It also insults every single victim in the tragedy to promote such ideas as the last phone calls made by passengers to their loved ones before the crash were fabricated by the government, or that passengers on the flights were relocated to other parts of the world and have been seen by witnesses.

Chapters 4-6 of the 9/11 Commission Report are based almost entirely on KSM’s “testimony” which was delivered third hand to the commissioners (their requests for a direct interview were denied). The CIA interrogators wouldn’t even let him read what his confession said before he signed it.
And NO ONE claims Bush did it. Cheney certainly had knowledge of it and played a somewhat significant role (ordering the NORAD stand down, etc.). Most of the players are deep behind the scenes however. The computer software used for coordination came from Ptech and takes advantage of “risk management” backdoor access.
If people out there really, truly believe the official story. Please explain what happened to Building 7. Last time I checked 47 story skyscrapers didn’t blow themselves up.
Same type of tedious arguments/comments as posted on a zillion other 9/11 conspiracy sites. I love the demolition theory simply because it looks like a demolition–then it must be a demolition job.
