As for your comment about the Tigers most likely avoiding any trade of Granderson to the White Sox since they are a division rival, Jim Hendry (inexplicably is right, George) traded Mark DeRosa to Cleveland only for DeRosa to end up in a Cardinal uniform. To say that backfired is an understatement. Curtis Granderson sounds like a real good guy on and off the field. It would suit me fine to see him in a Cubs uniform.
