Of course, for too many years, that lung-taxing ramp climb wasn't necessary -- the Cubs sometimes closed the upper deck for lack of fans. Now, they've got to find ways to get people up there other than the ramps. I know Wayne has a disability and it's tough for him. I'm sure Ricketts has some ideas for this issue other than "go to Comiskey Park," as MacPhail once told me when I asked him about an elevator. I have a sentimental attachment to the manual scoreboard & love the idea of leaving that alone, but everything else -- especially more elevators & addition of escalators -- would be wonderful.
