I agree that it's a waste of taxpayer money to investigate the propriety of whatever fee she got; I really don't care. It seems to me all political theater (on both sides.) Sometimes I wish we could have a little less theater and a little more reason, sanity and action.

There was a simple solution to the Palin "controversy." Jerry Brown, Yee and all the others opposed to her speaking at the fundraiser could have dug into their own pockets, and donated the $200,000 that she raised, thereby eliminating the need for her to come. Plus, the "students' who were opposed to her speaking at the fundraiser should refuse to accept any of the money earmarked for scholarships, and not take part in any of the programs that the rest of the money will fund.

Jerry Brown is the one who should be investigated for wasting taxpayer money on his politically inspired "investigation."

The dems in CA trying to turn the election into a referendum on Palin is a worthless tactic. It wasn't Palin who spent the state into bankruptcy. People want solutions to unemployment, taxes, and other important issues. Making the election about Palin may help gin up the dems base, but the majority of people aren't going to be fooled.

It's going to be interesting to see whose cause benefits the most... I'm afraid it might not be mine.

Between Friday June 25 & Tuesday June 29, Gov. Palin speaks in California, Texas, Virginia, & Georgia, delighting devotees & dumfounding detractors at every stop. That is called commitment to the cause.
