What’s the most refreshing snack to enjoy this summer?

Del Monte has the answer.

The company has produced a Daniel Craig-inspired ice pop that replicates the British actor’s perfectly sculpted body in Casino Royale.

“Daniel Craig topped our poll of Britain’s coolest celebrities and thanks to our Del Monte lolly replica he is officially immortalised as super smooth and licensed to chill,” said spokesman Matt O’Connor.

The Daniel Craig, dubbed “license to chill,” smoothie pops come in blueberry, pomegranate and cranberry flavors and are under 100 calories each. They are scheduled to be distributed throughout the U.K. during the first National Ice Cream Week which begins this week and ends on June 7.

Heidi Montag to design the smallest amount of clothing possible

When it comes to fashion, you can say Heidi Montag knows a thing…or two.

When she’s not spouting out intellectual dialogue on MTV’s “The Hills,” Heidi is often seen frolicking on the beaches of sunny California in her countless number of bikinis.

The reality show star has teamed up with swimsuit designer Ashley Paige to design an upcoming collection − both high-end and lower priced − that will hit major department and budget store shelves next week.

While Heidi’s first venture into the world of fashion didn’t do well for her previous collaboration with clothing chain Anchor Blue, this next project may do better. But if it doesn’t, there’s no doubt the Hills star will model them herself everyday this summer.

Will Ferrell brings his sexyback to a new line of sunscreen

Move over Jessica Simpson – Will Ferrell is the next celebrity hawking a product!

But this time around, unlike the celebrities who claim to “work closely behind the scenes” of a new project, Will is stripping down to his skivvies (and in some cases, a fruit leaf) and providing his own famous face on the labels of a new line of sunscreen. Seriously.

And what better time than right around the corner from summer! Will ’s three lotions contain SPF 30 − in Sun Stroke, Sexy Hot Tan and Forbidden Fruit −with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the charity Cancer for College’s College Willpowered Scholarship Fund, which grants college scholarships to cancer survivors and amputees.

As for why the funny man chose to benefit a charity with his own line of sunscreen, Will quite eloquently explains:

Forget the cheating scandal, Kate Gosselin prefers to talk about her hair that “everyone wants”

kateplus8In the midst of being the newest tabloid target, Jon & Kate Plus 8’s frazzled mom Kate Gosselin has taken advantage of her fifteen minutes of shame fame by promoting her latest book, “Eight Little Faces.”

Call it bad timing, or perhaps a cleverly planned PR stunt, but Kate’s tour to promote her book on “family, trust, perseverance and joy” has turned into a media circus thanks to her husband Jon’s philandering ways. 51-n4xnao-l_ss500_

If you don’t know the story by now, here it is in short: Jon and Kate star in a hit TLC show following their hectic lives raising a set of 8-year-old twins and 5-year-old sextuplets. Kate writes her first book, “Multiple Blessings,” which quickly became a best seller. She begins to grow more comfortable in the spotlight, often lending her opinion to news stories like Octomom, all while Jon stays home with the kids. Just as Kate starts her second book tour, news breaks that Jon has been secretly dating a 23-year-old teacher for the past three months. Rumors of Kate’s “friendly” relationship with her bodyguard follow. Gasp!

Assuring fans (and herself?) that the couple is currently working through their problems, Kate (minus Jon) has appeared all over the media including the Today show, Rachael Ray show and is People magazine’s newest cover girl. And although viewers would like to know what’s really going on in the Gosselin household, Kate is using her time in the spotlight to talk about herself. Today’s most popular topic? Her business-in-the-front/party-in-the-back hairstyle that “everybody wants.”

Do you have a name for your hairstyle?

KATE: It’s my attitude! Everybody wants it. It’s work. I have very, very thick hair, so it’s not going to work for everybody. I’ve seen people come through the book line with thin hair and it’s just won’t work. My hair stylist gets calls from all across the country.

So, is all this hoopla really worth boosting book sales? Coincidentally, the next season of Jon & Kate Plus 8 is premiering on May 25. And you can bet the ratings will be the highest yet.

My advice to Kate is to take a break from promoting yourself, step away from the spotlight and deal with your problems without the help of a talk show host. At the rate things look to be going, we may soon be watching “Jon & Kate Plus 8 and a Custody Battle.”

What recession? Mischa Barton hawks budget-busting line of hair accessories

Since her days stirring up drama on The O.C., Mischa Barton has done little work in front of the camera. Instead, the actress had switched more of her focus to fashion.

Last fall, Mischa joined forces with designer Stacey Lapidus to create a luxe range of bejeweled and feather-adorned hair accessories.  Now, the actress has released more designs for her Spring collection that she says is inspired by her jet set lifestyle.

“I’ve been working in the likes of India, Milan, Paris, London, Montreal, L.A, and NYC,” she explains. “My style has been somewhat boho chic, which I think is a result of having traveled so extensively throughout the course of the past year.”

Perhaps Mischa’s travels have left her in the dark when it comes to the subject of money. With price tags ranging from $50 to $200, some of the accessories have me questioning who was drinking the happy juice while pricing the items. Sure, some of the headbands are actually nice looking, but others look to be the creation of a grade-schooler who got a hold of a glue gun and press-on flowers. (I suggest saving some money and heading to retail stores for lesser priced accessories) During a time when money matters, selling $100 headbands looks to be a hard sell.
