EX-FBI Agent Sentenced

An update now on the FBI Agent who decided this actress was worth risking his whole career over.

I wrote about Agent Mark Rossini recently and how he stole Bureau documents to give his honey-pie….who then turned the top secret documents over to the lawyer for the target.   Today Rossini learned his fate.

A disgraced FBI agent who lost his job for illegally accessing bureau files on behalf of his sexy girlfriend, “The Last Seduction” star Linda Fiorentino, was sentenced yesterday to just one year of probation and a $5,000 fine after delivering an abject apology.

“I just wanted to say ’sorry’ doesn’t even count . . . I am so profoundly and deeply ashamed and remorseful,” said former G-man Mark Rossini, 47, in Washington federal court. “I hope one day to be able to serve the people of this country again.”via EX-FBI AGENT MARK ROSSINI GETS PROBATION FOR ACCESSING FILES FOR LINDA FIORENTINO – New York Post.

    I have a freakish attachment to all things having to do with crime and justice, although I’ve covered all sorts of stories, including national politics in Washington – which I guess some might say is akin to covering crime. You'll see here I often mix the two.
