THIS is the American Way?

“OCTOBER 28–Angered that two neighborhood teenagers knocked over a John McCain sign on his lawn, an Ohio man allegedly grabbed a rifle and fired three times at the duo as they sought to drive away from his Warren Township home. Kenneth Rowles, 50, was charged with felonious assault in connection with the Saturday afternoon incident, which resulted in one boy suffering a minor bullet wound. According to a Warren Township Police Department report, Patrick Wise, 16, yelled, “This is for Obama” as he knocked over the McCain sign.”

What the hell is the matter with us here in America?  I mean, there’s always been a division between political parties but Democrats and Republicans used to be able to attend the same cocktail parties without splashing each other with a drink and stalking out in disgust!  The kids mentioned in this Ohio story didn’t just suddenly wake up and pledge allegiance to Barak Obama. They weren’t suddenly enthralled by the nation’s political system. Some lousy adult taught them its okay to use violence if you don’t agree with someone’s politics.  Shame on the kids – but shame on the adults in their lives too! 

But the biggest shame of all is this guy (below) for turning a gun on kids!

He went for the gun instead of 911
