Tween Girls NOT Responsible for Idol Upset
Kris, America’s newest idol, is one singing sensation tween girls are NOT totally responsible for. According to tween girls on AllyKatzz.com…Before the Idol finale, girls ages 9-15 cast their votes and gave us their pulse-check: 39% said Adam. 24% said Kris. I wasn’t surprised when I saw those numbers because tween girls will follow the leader… and in the case of Idol, the leader they were all buzzing about was Adam. But while Idol is gloating about the record breaking number of votes… here’s something they need to think about… in the same pulse-check report, 36% said they aren’t watching Idol this season. That’s more shocking than Kris winning.

Veddy interesting info!
Last night’s finale certainly wasn’t tween or even teen friendly — I mean, how many 11 year-olds could sing along to “Maggie May”?
Simon Cowell said it early on: Kris bringing out the wife may have hurt his appeal with the Tiger Beat set. And Adam Lambert is a bit too scary for the Jonas Brothers crowd. That’s why I maintain that teen-friendly Allison will come out swinging when this group of Idols release their records.
In the meantime, though, with more than a third of tweens saying they weren’t gaga over Idol this season, you have to wonder who’s going to fill the seats on the upcoming Idol summer tour; they’re competing with JoBros . . .with youth-friendly Idol Champ Jordyn Sparks in tow.
