Keep Your Eyeballs Safe: Don’t Look At Keep America Safe’s Web Site

Liz Cheney and Bill Kristol might want to hire a new web master, because the homepage for their group “Keep America Safe” is looking pretty gnarly.

If you’ve ever wondered what a post-9/11 fearmongering web site would’ve looked like in 1998, click the above link and enjoy auto-stretched photographs and fonts that are all mismatched and chaotic. Gotta love the use of courier font for the “Detainee Spotlight” sidebar– it makes it look like real, raw intel!

If I never felt unsafe before, I certainly feel unsafer viewing that layout.

Clearly, some people at Woodstock ate the brown acid and never came down from their bummer.

And should a real danger arise to threaten the world, I know where those weenies will be cowering. Behind some seriously deformed HTML urging others to carry the fight.
