Punchline Poll: Sarah Palin’s Book Tour

It’s Punchline Poll time! May the best punchline win! The rules are simple:

1. Read the joke
2. Pick your favorite punchline
3. Winning punchline advances to next week’s joke!

This week’s joke is called “Sarah Palin’s Book Tour”:

Sarah Palin is touring America promoting her new book (”Git-R-Rogue”). Her tour takes her to Bluestockings, the famous anarchist bookstore in Manhattan’s Lower East Side. After reading to a packed room, Palin agrees to answer some questions. An old anarchist approaches the microphone: “Governor Palin, you talked about God, you talked about freedom, you talked about the media’s conspiracy against you, and you talked about your kids. But what about this dysfunctional capitalist economy?” Palin takes a deep breath and says, “Sometimes I wonder why ___________.”

YOU PICK THE PUNCHLINE

  • "... I can't just awake from this living nightmare that is my life." (Last week's winner!)(21%, 77 Votes)
  • "... you anarchist-people are so obsessed with the economy. It's just the economy, guys, I don't lose sleep over it. Maybe if it was made out of moose meat I'd be interested." (15%, 55 Votes)
  • "... you anarchist-people are still demanding free Mumias. You should pay for your Mumias like everybody else. Hey, look, I made a 'free Mumia' joke! Paging Katie Couric ..." (20%, 71 Votes)
  • "... Hakim Bey never fully reconciled his concept of ontological anarchy with his model of temporary autonomous zones, as expounded in his many texts which I read in my spare time." (44%, 159 Votes)
