The funny part of Obama’s reported comment is how it continues a virtual conversation between the two men today. Earlier, a YouTube smash was born when a user substituted Kanye for another jackass, Joe Wilson, in footage of the now famous healthcare speech interruption:
West has a way of inserting himself into presidential matters, no? His legendary assertion that “George Bush doesn’t care about black people” made great headlines (shout out to my “So I Married An Axe Murderer” Co-Star, Mike Meyers). Now, it’s a black president calling him out. Just another day in our topsy-turvy world.
