Where in America do Bars Outnumber Grocery Stores?

I came across this graphic at the excellent blog, Floating Sheep. It shows the density of bars (red) vs grocery stores (yellow) across the U.S.  You can quite clearly see the “beer belly of America.”

    Wow… living in Milwaukee, I knew about the large number of bars here but …uh wow….

    I saw a map a little while ago that showed the number of McDonnald’s in the country, that was also eye opening.
