Glenn Beck thinks you’re five years old
Today, Glenn Beck explained why the Obama administration has chosen to “start a war” with Fox News by using a magic trick (at about 3:00):
Of course! The Communist Health Care plot.
This might be why Obama is apparently “not losing a lot of sleep over” the whole White House vs. Fox News tilt – he’s up against a children’s performer. Showing us a sleight of hand move as if he’s just split the atom makes Beck resemble what appears on his desk when the lights come up: a giant pill.
Beck’s insinuation that he is the victim in this argument (that he is being used by the government as a distraction to what’s behind the curtain) assumes a certain level of humility: None. Time and again, every piece of proof that Beck offers to support his theories relies on his own position being of utmost importance. He is the clarion call. Without him, Americans would be doomed, apparently. The exact opposite is true.
If anyone’s pulling a sleight of hand, it’s Glenn Beck. Now that he’s shown us how it’s done, it should be easy for everyone to see through his tricks. Right?

I won’t deny that he’s a goofball at times, but what he stands for outside of the goofyness, if that’s a word, is spot on.
The government healthcare labeled as “communist” has some merit, because when was the last time government willing gave up control/power/money for the individual’s gain? There hasn’t been many examples. And what’s more, there’s not a good track record for the success of government programs, and oddly enough, their failure is because they don’t have enough money. How many times have we heard education just needs more money to be better.

It’s been a YEAR, the govt. hasn’t had a chance to do anything, and what’s worse this moron and his chronies block them at every turn just for the sake of blocking them. The only sensible thing he’s ever said is that you shouldn’t take on the media, though I’m sure the clip has been taken out of context because it’s rare that he or his group of dim-witted quasi-fascist right wing numbnuts ever deliver anything that pertains to ‘fair’ or ‘balanced’.
