Dutch kids are the happiest
I think you all need to know this: Dutch kids are the happiest in industrial countries, Dutch Daily News writes:
Dutch children have been rated the most fortunate children. Their parents go out of their way to please them, and teachers expect less of them than some of their European counterparts.
Oh, and if you wonder how Americans scored on this please-the-children-list: you’re 21st – and last.

Does that actually prepare them for life?
Nope. It just makes them happy. For a short time, that is. It’s probably all because their parents are wimps. Should I have added more irony to my text?
