Antiwar.com Radio Interview Regarding Wikileaks, Information Freedom
Scott Horton interviewed me yesterday on the Wikileaks situation and related matters. The segment may be heard here. Have fun trying to figure out what the hell I’m saying, as I hadn’t had any coffee yet and my mumbly accent is moderately indecipherable at all times anyhow. It may be worth struggling through if you have an interest in media theory or just enjoy struggling through things.
The day before, Horton interview my fellow True/Slant contributor Michael Hastings, formerly Newsweek’s Baghdad correspondent and the author of I Lost My Love in Baghdad, which was released last month. Hastings is better at talking into phones than I am; in this segment, he discusses the Iraqi electoral dynamics that will shape the nation in the years to come.
And here’s another Antiwar.com interview from yesterday with Lt. General Robert G. Card, Jr., who does not write for True/Slant but who does serve as Chairman of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation, which I guess is pretty good, too.
