Any thoughts out there on what may be driving the uptick? An 11% increase is nothing to shrug off.
General Motors Corp. said today that its sales declined 29.6% in May, but that was a lower decline than the 36% decline expected by analysts.
For the month, GM sold 191,875 new cars and trucks compared with 272,363 last year.
GM said sales in May increased 11% over April, or by about 19,000, making May the automaker’s best performance of the year.
