If the characters of Lost were on Facebook…
The last season of Lost premiered Tuesday, peppered with the usual head-scratching questions and introduction of mysterious new characters. Hopefully, the series will stick to the cerebral and there will be few action-packed “Final Destination”-esque scenes, like the one that ended last season with a chain winding its way around Juliet’s body and dragging her into a well.
One of the most frustrating aspects of the show has been how private the characters are. They do not share information easily, making the Island’s riddles harder to solve.
If Facebook and Twitter existed on the Island, the transparency would have helped make the place less confusing and this thing could have been wrapped up in, like, two seasons.
If the characters were on Facebook, here would be likely updates based on recent happenings:
– Hurley and Jacob are now friends.
– Sawyer’s relationship status has changed to Single.
– Jack, Hugo, and Kate were tagged in a photo: “Dharmaville in ‘77.”
– Locke became a fan of “Turning into dark smoke.”
– Jack, Jin, Miles, Kate, Sawyer, and Sayid joined the group “We Live In Temples and Dress Like It’s Woodstock.”
– Ben wrote on Jacob’s wall: “Sorry, dude.”

Probably funnier if I’d ever seen Lost, or if I spent time on Facebook, but still pretty funny.
Funny, thanks for the chuckle (I hate when people LOL everything, I mean really… you were laughing out loud over that?)….. of course if you check facebook, you find that all the characters are on there… multiple times in fact. And some are quite different than you would expect. It seems Sawyer speaks fluent Spanish (sometimes) and Locks is a big fan of “pants on the ground”… who knew.
